SJOGREN'S SYNDROME

According to Sjogren's Syndrome Foundation, Sjogren's is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the entire body. In patients with Sjogren's syndrome, white blood cells attack moisture-producing glands, resulting in the hallmark symptoms of dry eyes and dry mouth in addition to dysfunction of the kidneys, gastrointestinal system, liver, lungs, blood vessels, pancreas and central nervous system. Joint pain and extreme fatigue are common.

Doctors often recommend drinking significant amounts of fluid (most often water) to help reduce discomfort by increasing hydration in the bloodstream. Consuming enough fluid is difficult.

Hydrus is a scientific breakthrough in hydration. It uses liposomes, which are the body’s natural delivery system, to encapsulate electrolytes that the bloodstream needs to draw water into the bloodstream. Without belaboring the point, drinking water is only half of the hydration equation. The other half is electrolytes. You need essential salts in the bloodstream to create the natural equilibrium found in healthy blood cells.

Hydrus has developed what we call nanosomes, liposomes which are smaller than the size of a blood cell. In tests at the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research with the World Health Organization’s “gold standard” electrolyte solution, the science in Hydrus was up to eight times more effective at delivering electrolytes and fluids into the bloodstream than their own electrolyte solution that they use in emergency relief situations around the world.

Another big part of the Hydrus breakthrough science is that it hydrates with absolutely no sugar.

So we put Hydrus to the test with Sjogren’s. And we were successful.
