Two Sport Athlete, One Big Hydrus Fan

Whether battling it out on the ice, or going head-to-head with other intense athletes in the CrossFit gym, proper hydration is essential to physical well-being and competitive success. Seth Rowsam plays hockey and has taken up Crossfit; and Hydrus has given him an edge in both: “First of all thanks for creating an awesome product! Growing up I played hockey all the way up until the Junior level in Ontario, Canada; still having the love for the game, I now play in a competitive men's league in Boston, MA. So in a way my fitness has a little motivation behind it to keep playing that sport with full intensity.” “CrossFit, though, has become a passion of mine. Being such a competitive...

Heidi Howar broke the all time world record total (compiled by Michael Soong) in women’s equipped 132, competing in only her second equipped meet. Heidi totaled 1,345 at Laura Phelps-Sweatt’s Cincinnati women’s pro-am, with a 530 squat, 340 bench, and a 475 deadlift. Heidi’s Hydrus success story in her own words: “I'm a 132 pro multiply powerlifter and I just broke the total record and will be going for more records in November. I usually cut 10-13 pounds and I used to use...

Beating the Odds with Hydrus

"I was first introduced to Hydrus Performance Hydration by my good friend, three-time All American & Hall of Fame wrestler from The Ohio State University, Adam DiSabato. After a month or two I decided to see what Hydrus was all about.  So I order a bottle of each flavor (orange & lemon lime). As a former athlete who now suffers from Multiple Sclerosis, I am constantly in search of products that can improve my overall health and quality of life.  As I began using Hydrus, I was first impressed with the taste (as an added bonus there are no calories and it’s sugar free)!!! After about a week I noticed that my leg cramps were less & less.  So I...

The Hydrus Catch of the Day

Nearly 50 million Americans a year go fishing. Some are serious anglers; others go just for fun. But even though you're on the water, doesn't mean that you need any less hydration. Everyone knows the sun will dehydrate you; but even on a cloudy day, the wind will take away just as much of your body water through sweat evaporation. And if you're reeling-in "the big one," you're exerting as much as if you were lifting weights for hours. Unless you're fishing on a trawler, there's not a lot of space on the average boat for extra bottles of water. So bring Hydrus. Added to water, Hydrus has been shown to rehydrate the body up to eight times faster than water alone. That means fewer...
